Terms of Service
These terms are the deal between you and the TaskCue team for using TaskCue. By creating an account or signing in you agree to them.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 to create an account, create a team or agree to these terms. Everyone who uses TaskCue must be at least 13.
Members use the app through an account an owner creates for them inside their team. Add someone only with their agreement, never anyone under 13, and remember that as the owner you are responsible for how the people you add use the app.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it. Everything done from your account is treated as done by you.
Owners can see and manage everything in their team, including what members do. Members can accept, snooze, decline, start and finish the tasks they are given and nothing else.
Fair use
Use TaskCue for your own team or household. Do not put anything unlawful, abusive or harmful in it, do not add people to your team without their agreement, and do not try to break into or overload the service.
We can suspend or delete an account that breaks these rules.
Ads
TaskCue is free and paid for by ads. Everyone in a team, owners and members alike, occasionally sees a full-screen ad served by Google AdMob, at the natural breaks and within the limits set out in the Privacy Policy.
There is no ad-free version and nothing to buy. Where we ask for your consent, that answer decides whether the ads are personalised, not whether they appear. Do not try to interfere with the ads the app serves.
What we promise (and don't)
We work to keep the app available and your data safe, but TaskCue is provided "as is". It is a shared to-do list, not a safety system: do not rely on it for anything where a missed reminder could cause harm. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the app.
Ending things
You can delete your account at any time from Settings; the Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data. We may retire the app or change these terms, we will tell you in the app first, and continuing to use it means you accept the new terms.
If you got TaskCue from the App Store
These terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its contents. Apple has no obligation to provide any support for it: if you need help, write to us.
If the app fails to conform to any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (TaskCue is free, so that amount is nothing); beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation. Any other claim about the app, including product liability, a failure to meet a legal requirement, or a privacy claim, is ours to handle rather than Apple's, as is any claim that the app infringes someone else's intellectual property.
You confirm you are not in a country subject to a US embargo and are not on any US list of prohibited or restricted parties, and you agree to follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
The legal bit
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Questions go to taskcue@gmail.com.
